After parking directed by men in white suits and red ties, the fam hopped on the shuttle bus to head over to The Rose Parade's float viewing.
Every surface, except for some seats, must be covered in flowers, seeds, bark or other natural materials using no dyes. Seeing the floats up close is awe-inspiring.
The crowds were also amazing.
As was the kettle corn.

Check out the wave's froth on this float, created by flowers pouring off of it's apex.
As the day warmed up, Maddie decided to stroll with Mom, it eventually getting up to the high 70s. Ah, January in LA.
Even the jellyfish are bright and sunny.
