Madd Max Have A Weekend Lunch

With Lilly, Aarin and Fiona.
Which had been a long time coming for Maddie, who wants nothing more then to constantly hold Baby Fiona.
Marissa showing off her pizza cooling technique - they are being waved like fans.
Bubbles made even more awesome with their hugeness.
Later, Jess got away for a ladies' dinner with Marissa, Kathleen, Erin, Suzanne and Aarin.

Madd Max Have An Artistic Dad

Maddie likes to pretend she's scared of an alligator. Dad made her one, and a sun, and a dinosaur.

Scrappy Communicates

With Dad. This got full belly laughs from Max and Maddie.

Madd Max Have An Awesome Easter

At 7am, the kids noticed their baskets. Strawberries, chocolate and jelly beans for breakfast!
Next, followed the traditional Kender scavenger hunt, starting in DoeZee's traditional place - for a memory jogger, go here.

Maddie loved it, taking each picture to the next location, and showing it to the location, as if to say, "I have found you. See."
PS You will hear Max in the background asking Maddie to "Open that, Maddie," that being an egg of candy Mom is refusing to open.
Then a small egg hunt in the backyard. Maddie found most of the eggs, since after Max would find one, he would sit down and shove all the candy in his mouth.
The Findleys hosted a killer Easter party, which began with BFF Princess dressup.
Followed by room destruction.
And the egg hunt, which again was waaaay better then Burbank's.
Also in attendance were ELF's Aunt Jessa, Uncle Brian, cousin Issac, and Grandparents.
And Jess and Aarin's childhood friend, Rachael and family. Baby Logan dug him some Max.
Ethan and Miles.
Max and ELF.
Happy, sugared kids who made it pleasantly an hour and half past nap time, and Logan's Dad, Rich.
Rachael, Jess and Aarin, friends since they were 5, now watching all 7 of their kids play together. As DoeZee put, "This is something I would have never imagined 25 years ago."

The Scrapper Is Too Big Boy

Too big boy to sit in his high chair, and has been so for many months. He is too little boy though to just sit down on the chair, and therefore has worked out this solution.

Madd Max Head To The Eggstravaganza

Held by the City of Burbank. The 0-3 set line up around a baseball diamond which is filled with eggs. Not nearly enough eggs. Please notice the puss on Maddie's face, as both her and Max got none. Luckily, 2 other parents noticed and gave them some of their kids'.
A little egg decorating.
And some walking with Dad.

Madd Max Thinks It Can Never Be Too Sweet

And when you have a Mimi in town she'll back you up.
Why not have pancakes covered in marshmallows, chocolate chips and syrup?

Slappy Bakes With Mimi

Little round cookies that she carefully rolled in her hands.

Madd Max Head To Underwood Farm

Which has a little of everything.
Goat petting.
Pony riding.
And the reason the fam headed out - strawberry picking. Max, however, did not get the memo, and plopped himself down in the fields and began shoving any ripe one in his mouth. "Picking" ended soon after.

Madd Max Go To Chuck E Cheese

While they have been there before with Karol, this was their first time with Jess.
It was Mimi's idea, idea perhaps, of payback.

Slappy Has A Baby (Doll)

Who looks, "Just like Maddie!"
Mimi sewed doll clothes for the first time, making Maddie and her baby a matching set. Maddie was so excited that she named her first toy ever. Meet "Maya."

Madd Max Can't Wait to See Fiona

But first Max had Mimi and Mom all to himself, and used the time to go driving with mall Garfield.
Proud big sister, ELF.
Maddie has been talking about the day when she would get to hold Baby Fiona again, and even turned down candy when given a choice to hold Fiona or indulge.
Max preferred gaming with Mimi.
This is not to say he is not part of her fan club. He did rest his chin on her chair, trying to wistfully imagine what life would be like if only he could do more then "look, but not touch."

Madd Max Has A Last Wonderful Morning

The last morning of Toby and Taisie's 2 1/2 month stay.
Celebrated with a brunch with cousin, Spencer.
Max is introduced to the sprinkler. He was trepidacious but interested.
Maddie made babies and blankets with Taisie and some playdoh.
The fam.
And love of the grandparents who will be deeply missed.

The Scrapper Makes Dad Proud

1. Pull stool over to TV because you cannot feel the action from 3' away.
2. During commercials, frantically yell, "More hockey!"
3. During play, switch between yelling, "Go, Go, Go!!!" "Ouch!" and "Yay!!!!"

The Scrapper Has A Firsts Day

That's right, my sister is not the only one whose firsts are acknowledged.
Max's first movie, Hop.
Max's first time riding alone on a ride, in this case the mall choo-choo train.

Slappy Got A Scooter

Guess who covets it, but does not yet posses the balance to use it?

Madd Max Didn't Dine

But they did go to Peekaboo Playland with Taisie.
Sam and Jess, and Taisie and Toby did dine, in a rare kidless dinner downtown.
