The Scrapper Gets A Playdate

His third playdate that was done just for him.  He invited "His #1, Stella."  He was ecstatic.

Maddie had Aurelia over, and all 4 played with Barbies for an hour and 15 min.  By themselves.  With no adult intervention.  Quietly.  What!?!

Madd Max Almost Has A Sleepover

The Scrapper Goes To The Dentist

And was a total pro.  He even gave a thumbs up during his plaque cleaning.  He also got a warning about 2 cavities starting on the back of his molars.

Maddie did not do well, but got a clean teeth bill of health.

Mimi came to watch Maddie for the second week that she needed off of preschool.  The kids were thrilled.

It was ridiculously windy outside, but you would not know it from the jacket-less children.

The feeding of the grizzlys, who ran out and fished for live prey.

 But first a little game playing on the iPad.

 Then it was time for some schooling by Sam.

 Who arched in his earlier days.

Maya went solo.

And a little lovin' at the end of the night.

Madd Max Heads To The Jelly Belly Factory

But first, a little coffee.

Having a friend ride with you = awesome.

The all-you-can-eat sample bar.

Also awesome.

And the tour - which the adults realized would be much better during the week, when the machines actually run.

Slappy Is One Day Post Surgery

Major bandages off, and sweet gifts arriving from the Art Dept.

A family meal.

And superhero animals.

Slappy Has Surgery

To correct a puncture of her eardrum caused by a local ENT during a routine cleaning.

It was tough on both kiddos.

But the recovery was quick - after a nap, Maddie began decorating a pony.

And by 4pm, she was up blowing bubbles and eating pizza.

 Followed by the scavenger hunt.  It was just as Jess started making this video that she realized that the stove was perhaps not the smartest hiding place.

 

And finally an egg hunt in the backyard.

 Who later were regaled by Taisie's explanation, complete with photos, of kites.

Since Jess and Sam were stuck at work.

Slappy Has A Birthday Party

 

 At Pump It Up - a place with 2 rooms of giant inflatables.  The kids listened closely to the instructional video.

 

Very closely.

 And then the fun began.

 

Yeah.

 

 Oh yeah.

 And then the draw of tube.

That literally did nothing, but eventually ended up with about 10 kids inside it and more clamering to get in.

 The black light room.

 Dude.

 Followed by the party room.

And some Hello Kitty cake.

And a birthday girl drunk with power on her inflatable throne.
