Madd Max Beat The Heat

Even more, with some ice cream with Emma.
Who then got to enjoy the project box from Mimi - clearly these girls come from artistic backgrounds.

Slappy Has Some Advice

After listening to Jess repeatedly discuss a particular problem person at work, Maddie decided she knew what to do.

Madd Max Have A First Steelers Game

The first game of the 2012 season,
 Black and yellow.
Meanwhile, ELF gave out ballet lessons to Max and Elizabeth.
And Tio Greg made another fan.

Madd Max Have Spinkler Fun

 While filling up the pool.
And a BBQ with Annie, Maggie, Aeryn and their folks.

Slappy Is A Big Helper

Maddie is taking more responsibilities on, and is very proud of herself for doing so.  Here, after visiting the farmer's market, she carried the grapes and asparagus to the car.  At home, she "cleans up", ie makes her, her brother's and her parents' beds.  Even more impressive is that every morning, she gets up and feeds herself and her brother breakfast.  This allows Sam and Jess to stay in bed until 7:15 on weekends instead of getting out of bed with the kids at 6:00.  Oh yes.

Madd Max Love Their Tio

And the fact that they can easily get to him on the sofabed.

Madd Max Celebrate Stella

Where Maddie pushed the 3 year olds on the hammock.
And Stella had rock star style with a pink, black and zebra cake.
Upon return, came the much anticipated return of Tio Greg, back from Korea.

And then Sunday dinner on Saturday, also with Mimi.

Madd Max Has a Steady Stream

A steady stream of projects that Mimi has sent once a month - Maddie's favorite morning activity.

Madd Max Has Great Summer Sundays

Where now ELF can swim in the pool and Maddie no longer wears water wings (she took them off soon after this picture).
Family Sunday dinner.

Madd Max Celebrate The Jersey Shore

In shirts from Auntie Kerry.  Max loved the fact that he could pull his shirt over his knees.  Jess is not sure why.

Madd Max Visits The Pet Store

Where Max was enthralled by the puppies until they got super excited at his presence and could not stop barking.
Classic pet shop face - "I just want to buy one, not five!!!!!"
Maddie let Uncle Wills help with the coloring at breakfast.
 A little pre-pancake hockey.
And then some backyard hockey.

Madd Max Have A Last Day

Playing with cousins, Kristin and Bobby.
 Lunch from Mr. Hero.
And a last cuddle from Grandma.
While it was sad to leave, Uncle Wills made it easier by returning with the fam to LA.

Madd Max Have A Family Resemblance

 Ok, maybe not.
But they are all family, and all hanging out at Grandma's just like Jess did every Christmas with her cousins.

The Scrapper Has A Cohort

Cousin, Aiden, who enjoys spinning in chairs.
 Who plays Kerplunk.
And who throws rocks under the ramp - genius.

Madd Max Have Cousin Love

Nothing like a movie break after a full day with no naps.
C'mere guys.
A little closer.
And a smooch for Sonia.
And a belly rub for Baby Snacks.  Please note, cousin Jeannie also has a cousin on the inside, not pictured.  Grandma is soon to have a total of 7 great grandchildren!

The Scrapper Is A Baller

Max found a football and asked anyone who would, to play catch.  Here's Biggie.
 Great Uncle Bob.
 Cousin, Bobby.
 Uncle Ant and Bobby.
 Great Uncle Jim.

Maddie preferred her projects and cousins, Kristin and Noelle, were happy to join in.  Noelle purposely sat down right next to Maddie to learn how to make the pumpkins.
She also drew Aunt Tara with Aiden's help.

Madd Max Arrives For Grandma's 90th

After getting to bed at 3am, a late breakfast was made even better by the appearance of some cousins.
Then it was over to Grandma's to storm the castle, ie house.
Maddie immediately got to work doing one of the things she remembered from her last visit - feeding the birds.
Great Uncle Rick and Great Aunt Carole made sure everyone was well fed.

There was a little break to Michael's to pick up some kid entertainment.
And then time for some cake from the bakery that Grandma used to manage.

 Happy 90th!
 You rock, Grandma!
