Madd Max Turns 50

Her bed present, which was a lego set of The Office, one of Jess' favorite comfort shows.

5am cake and cinammon roll making.

 

It was a flowers and food birthday.

Office flowers from Jin.

Donuts from the Art Dept.

Sweet Lady Jane cake.

An incredible bouquet from Françoise.

And a unicorn bouquet from Larie.

 

Apps and presents with Taisie and Richard.

 

Followed by a dinner customized to Jess.

Quiche, meatball soup and salad.

Followed by Sam's OMG caramel cake.

Jess spent the day getting many texts and feeling very loved. 

Madd Max Has A One Shot

At 11am, the MEME gang made sure everyone was awake post-sleepover to create their character sheets.

Then it was time for the Dungeon Master to take over, and everyone to thoroughly enjoy themselves for the next 5 hours.

Dinner, post DnD.

Bedroom chilling.

Madd Max Heads Into The City Again

A pre-visit lunch in Leonia, where Max had fresh White Manna for the first time.

Madd and Jess headed in early, and hit Central Park where they reenacted Elf and his little brother's feels.

They walked back to Radio City via 6 1/2 Ave.

Where they stopped by the Rockefeller Center tree.

Before meeting up with Leon and the rest of the fam to see the Rockettes.

Tree Stop #2 pre-dinner.  NYC is lovely, albeit crowded, this time of year.

Madd Max Has The Traditional Ramen

But first, a morning donut stop with Steven and his gang of ladies.

Sam helped Ant Uncle with the noodle prep.

 

Which is just one of the many ramen steps.

Madd Max Takes Manhattan

 

A morning breakfast with Larie.

Followed by a vodka penne pizza lunch in Leonia.

The Empire State building and Macys were holiday ready.

 

Neat. 

Max went to Tannen's Magic, the oldest magic store in the United States, for a card trick lesson. 

Maddie, Jess and Mimi stopped by Aux Merveilleux de Fred to show Madd some of the French delicacies that they had enjoyed in Paris.

Followed by a stop at the Holiday Market at Bryant Park.

Where they enjoyed another East coast novelty - stairs!
