 And then spent some time making Christmas stockings while the kids played legos and Jess worked.  

It was actually one of the best work at home days Jess has had.

Which began with Jane's bunny birthday party.

Followed by Luke's video game truck party.

 Complete with sulking over having to eat lunch.

 And culminating in Edith's animal party.

 Which not only had a bounce house, but also some chickens, an iguana and a goat.

Slappy Gets Some Kitty Love

The Countess has been allowed bit by bit into Maddie's room.  Before, the excitement of the kitten being in her room kept Maddie from sleeping at all.

At the Westin in Pasadena, where they throughly enjoyed jumping from bed to bed.

And was chosen for it's heated pool.

Dinner out with Auntie Jamie and Taisie who made the 15 minute trek to join us on vacation.

The Scrapper Has The Blue And Gold

The Boy Scouts annual celebration, where there were these really cool balloon arches.

And a luau themed cake decorating contest.

Madd Max Has A Full Day

 A visit with Toby, where the kids slo-mo videoed their domino tracks.

 A birthday party for June where Maddie could not wait to get back on the track.

A dinner at Taisie's with Wyatt from New Hampshire.

Madd Max Counter Protests

 In support of Planned Parenthood, in a protest set up to counter the protests planned against PP on Saturday.

Proud activism - Max was very impressed by the consistent honking in favor of PP.

Slappy Gets Star Student Of The Month

She received it for academic achievement.

And was both super nervous and super excited.  Sam, Jess, Max and Taisie were all super proud.

 This one was for the counter protests to the anti-Planned Parenthood ones happening over the weekend.  And yes, that is Trump sticking up his middle finger.

Maddie also wrote thank you notes that would be given to providers across the area.

Slappy Goes To World Thinking Day

A Girl scout event where there was face painting.

A wall of wishes in the Korean booth, many of which referenced world peace, kittens, puppies, etc.

Her troop had England as their country, and each girl drew a self portrait in the big red bus.  Maddie drew herself as a Beefeater and labeled it, "Guard Maddie Tomboy."

At lunch, one of her Brownies opened up this sandwich which is Jess' favorite go at peanut butter and jelly - the void in the middle held a skinny rectangle that was being consumed at the time of the photo.  The Brownie's dad explained that sometimes he just got so bored making the same thing day after day.

Madd Max Heads To San Juan Capistrano

Lunch and word puzzles.

Mimi had heard about Maddie's love for the guinea pig, and it was her idea to head here.  For Maddie, it never gets old.

Sam was given this one by the kids.

And the corn pit.  Corn came out of all the places when Jess went to do the wash.

Madd Max Gets Out Of School Early

Much to the distress of Dozee, Jess pulled the kids out of school at lunchtime.  Then some spoiling commenced at A'Float Sushi.

Followed by the movie Moana.  Not bad for a Friday afternoon when all the rest of your friends are in class.

Later, a little dinner with Taisie.

Madd Max Celebrate Marissa's Birthday

At an Italian dinner with singers and a piano - singers who sing show tunes, Disney songs and take requests.  It's a theater major's Italian paradise.
