One of the smartest traditions Jess' family has is the tree present. This is a present that lives in the tree from Christmas until the day of tree removal. Once all of the ornaments are down and put away, the kids are allowed to open them.
Max was equally excited at grasping the tree as he was at grasping the present.
And after the presents were opened, the tree headed out to the front lawn for pickup. Goodbye LA Christmas.
A walk was in order, and Maddie inspired by Max's hat, picked this out for herself.
Saying goodbye to Christmas was exhausting, or perhaps it was the fact that as of late, Maddie has decided that naps are optional.
When she awoke, there was one more present waiting for her. Uncle Wills had arrived for a visit!
It was a present shared by Max as well.

Great hat and very sweet photos of Wills with the littles--lots going on there in Burbank.
