What could cause such joy?
The same thing that did last year - see
here. The previous day, Maddie had been scared of the clock, convinced that behind the door was a monster. Great Uncle Rick cleared that up.
And then got to host cuckoo clock fun for the next hour.
Great Uncle Ed and cousins, Mary and Mitchell, came over and brought 2 bears for the kids. Those bears then got carried through the airport the next day, being made to say hi to passersby.
A little chill time with Grandma, Great Aunt Carole and Shrek.
