It was a full weekend.

This was just the drive to the airport.

This was just the walk to the hotel room.

Madd Max Goes Biking and Takes Pictures

Thru the trails in the middle of the island.

Gwen dug the trip - Maddie less so because of the speed and the potential alligators.  Jess loved all the Spanish moss.

On the way, they met up with Laura and Keolani who joined us for the ride back to the hotel.

And some ice cream.

And then it was time to gather by the big tree.

For the paparazzi, of course.

Madd Max Have A Beach/Pool Day

But first, breakfast with the fam at the hotel's buffet.

The crew took up a few tables.

Then it was over to the hot tub to counter balance the rain.

Which went away before lunch - leaving lovely temps for hanging in the warm beach water.

Max and the endless sea.

The fam spreads out.

Until it was lunch time by the pool.

So much water that there were wrinkles for days.

Family on a plane to JAX.
This also represents the first time Sam and Jess have sat together on an airplane in 11 years.

A game of fist in the mouth upon arrival at Jekyll Island.

Running across the grounds.

Heading to the restaurant dock at sunset.

That's not bad.

Especially when a very sweet mojito is added to the mix.

And then came all the family, who danced.

And bonded.

On the dock.

And again on the dance floor.

Closing the night out with some quality chatting at the restaurant.

Jess and Madd headed down the mountain first due to Maddie's doneness with the hike.

The mirror and telescope set up for flashing, pointed right at the summit of Mount Chocorua.

And the dinner Taisie had waiting.
