Max made a toast at dinner, "To the nerds!"  Their nerd parents are very proud.

She was great, and surprised Jess because she had no idea Maddie could play like that.

Followed by Memphis Belle on the couch - Maddie's new favorite movie due to the "beautiful man" in it, Billy Zane.

Sam's favorite spot and a definite perk to living in LA.

Slappy Has A DnD Sess

Tio Greg dungeon masters a campaign for Max, Ava, Stella and Andre every Monday (and has done so for the past year).  He offered Maddie the chance to have one-shot campaign with Ellie and Elizabeth.  It was so successful that the one-shot turned into a two shot because the girls were so into it, they couldn't finish in a single session.

Slappy Heads To Europe

In 2022.  The fam tuned into an orientation with Maddie's PE teacher about a trip they put together every year.  After seeing posters for it in the locker room last year, her interest was peaked.  By mid-orientation, she was bouncing up and down, begging Jess to please sign her up RIGHT NOW.

Happy tween heading to Germany, Austria and Switzerland in a year and a half.

The Williams stopped by with some handmade valentines for the kiddos. The valentines also held red tic tacs FTW.

Jess and Max headed out for some last inner tube runs.

The path was much faster after a night of icing over.

That's a quality getaway.

A little hot tubbing where the snow would occasionally fall off the trees onto heads and arms.

Evening Izze sodas in martini glasses - so sophisticated.

Madd Max Go Inner Tubing

The first spot the fam stopped had a very mild slope.

This is where it was learned that a path needed to be cleared before actual movement would take place.

Into the next clearing, which had a much steeper and longer drop.  This is the same clearing where Max had made snow angels 2 days before.  The fresh snow totally transformed it.

Maddie cleaned off the car.

Cleaned it off right onto Jess.

The whole family worked on shoveling out Taisie's car and the driveway.

Max enjoyed it so much, he kept shoveling even after the driveway was cleared.

Madd Max Head To The Enchanted Forest Trail

Walking the 1/2 mile from the house.

This place is so pretty.

It even has a little stream running thru it.

Pretty magical walk thru the forest as we looked for prime inner tubing spots.

Back at the house, Max helped shovel out the driveway to remove what was turning into a layer of ice before the next big snow.

Even Taisie got in on the action.
