Madd Max Sets Up For Halloween

After 2 weeks of begging to decorate, we headed to Target where Maddie picked out a spider for her spider that is the daughter of her other spider.

Taisie worked on the cobwebs.

The kids hung the aforementioned spiders from the trees.

Max was very pleased.  While we were admiring the end result, Taisie asked a passing older woman. "Is it scary?"  The woman's answer, "Is it supposed to be?  I'm an adult."  And apparently, she always was.  We reassured Max that is was indeed, very scary.

The Scrapper Has A Final Celebration

After many long months, Max finally got to celebrate with Evan, who brought over a birthday cake.  This marked the end of Max's 2 months of continued birthday celebration.

The Scrapper Heads To Universal

 In lieu of a birthday party, Max decided he would like a trip to Universal.  He also decided on getting there the extra hour early to enjoy the Harry Potter rides before the general public.

Here, he reviews the map.

 The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, where Max rode the Flight of the Hippograph 3 times in a row without having to get off.  (He would have gone again, but Sam and Jess were feeling queasy).  There were also 2 rides on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.  That extra hour was amazing.

 Nothing like Butterbeer aka cream soda with a very sweet float at 9am in the morning.

 And Madd's favorite ride - the studio tour.

And to top the day off - a chocolate frog.

Madd Max Head To Taisie's 75th

With a mani-pedi pre-75th birthday celebration, something Madd had been asking for for months (she remembered Mimi taking her here and getting a flower on her toenail, 6 years ago).
