 First from afar, when Jess took them out to brunch without Sam.

 And then to this awesome musical park.

 Who needs a xylophone when there are drums to be banged?

 Sam joined the fam for some lunch with Aeryn's family.

Then it was over to the Leonhardt's where Isobel got schooled on how to behave on your first Father's Day.  Things like, drool in his eye, pull his hair and stick your finger up his nose, all of which she put into practice.

Some awesome Dads, including those who are out of the country but there in spirit.

A gift from the SmithAldridges arrived last night - a bug holder complete with magnifying top.  Jess got out of a 6:30am bug hunt by explaining that that is what Dad does.  And after Dad did, Maddie went to school with 2 roly-polys and a teeny praying mantis.

 The Croshaw/Starzyks came over for a playdate, and Edith introduced them to the world of bugs.
