There was also a bounce house to be enjoyed by the young and old alike. Seen here, Edith mans the front while Maddie, Lilly and Emma join Tim and Adam for some ring-around-the-rosie.
It was Max's first time in a bounce house, and he thought it was awesome even though he could not remain upright without help.
And then it was time for cake, which Max first tried to put his face directly into. When that didn't work, he went all in with his hands.
The cupcakes were taken very seriously by the younger set, as demonstrated by Edith.
And ELF.
Max's favorite part of the event - the singing of Happy Birthday. He seemed blown away that he had gotten so lucky as to be sitting at a table while an entire party broke into song. Happy Day, Manly Boy!

I wasn't sure about whether or not I'd like Max with a mustache. My doubts have been laid to rest. Max is rockin' it!

I have never met a more smiley, friendly, and all around happy boy. Edith continues to say "happy! Max" - translation: "happy birthday Max".
The party was big fun!
