Madd Max Heads To Detroit

The day began with an early start, waiting for a taxi.

Followed by 7 hours of flying, which was just what you are imagining. Naps were had mid-flight, by Maddie and Dad. Then about an hour of driving, which included some meltdowns and helpful tips from Maddie who had been listening to her stressed parents navigate. They went like this, "Dada? Dada? Ummmm, right turn?"

All was worth it when the fam ended up at the rehearsal dinner. Mom and Maddie sat with Uncle Ant, Ally, Uncle Wills, Mimi, Dzedo, Great Uncle Bob, ie Father of the Bride, and Great Aunt Marian, ie Mother of the Bride.

Sam and Max sat with Tio Greg and a table of thugs.

Mimi had made Jess and Maddie coordinating outfits for the dinner, but after traveling all day, the screams of "No Dress!" won out over Jess' want to look awesome. Uncle Ant took up where Maddie left off.
