Reading and texting with Taisie, who arrived with Sam in the morning.
Lunch on the other deck.
Some cozy reading and crossword puzzling.
And the first attempt at a hike around Grass Valley Lake, which ended up being a walk thru the neighborhoods on the streets.
Jess was in search of fall. The weather definitely felt like a perfect fall day. And there it is - all the way in the back there.... behind the No Trespassing sign and the electrical boxes...
