Then it was over to The Tavern for some cocktails for the adults.

And dinner at Laurel & Sage.

That's a good way to ring in 2020.

Madd Max Do Different Things

The boys gathered over the electronics.

(Full disclosure - Maddie was actually on electronics as well - just separate from the boys in Aunt Tara's reading chair).

At the New York Botanical Garden.

The morning started with brunch with Heather.

And a stop by her house where she has this insane wallpaper designed by Mike D of the Beastie Boys.  Zoom in - it's worth it.

Madd Max Hit Manhattan

A walk thru the mall, following The Vessel signs.

It's pretty cool.

The kids were very clear that they did not want to walk up all the steps.

We remained on the outside, although Jess would eventually like to go in.

Then it was over to the High Line, another thing on Jess' Manhattan bucket list.

Which had great design.

A stop to pick up Uncle Ant from work.

After which the fam walked over to the hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden to see Cirque du Soleil's Twas the Night Before.  It was an entire row of Kenders.

Italian dinner with Leon in Manhattan.

Then over to the Cort where Tak set designed Derren Brown's Secret.

And got The Leon, Jess and Sam tickets - 4th row.

Because he is designing ON BROADWAY.  It was beautiful and quite entertaining.

Afterwards a stop by Rockefeller Center to see the tree, as the city was so packed going beforehand proved impossible.

That's a pretty and big tree.

Then a stop to see the Saks 5th Ave windows where the entire building became a Frozen themed light show.

Madd Max Have Another Chill Day

Where Uncle Ant was skeptical since it was in the 40s, but managed to work thru the skepticism.

A 4am wakeup makes for a quiet drive in the rental car.

Mimi had some munchies prepped.

As Uncle Wills and Aunt Ally had also arrived today.

There was also a full meal - of course.

And a reacclimatizing to the play room.
