Jess received a call from Jackson's mom, who had a request from her son to text Maddie. They had gotten the idea after passing notes in class, which they refer to as "paper texting." Neither Jackson nor Maddie had ever texted anyone except family, so this was a very big day. After some explaining of the rules of texting, the first text was sent. Please note, our girl's first real text to her friend was "that is poop."
