This afternoon, Tio Greg flew in from Jersey just in time to push Maddie on the princess truck.
And chat with Max on the sofa.
Then it was time to head out for Mimi's great idea - her first professional haircut. Mimi had decided that Maddie looked a little "ragamuffin"-y, and we headed out to the "The Yellow Balloon." Little did we know, that getting your haircut feels like hot pokers going into your skull. There was crying. There was screaming. There were hands being forcibly held down.
And finally there were hair sprinkles (and a bow).
Upon leaving, Maddie was given a balloon, a photo of her, Mom and Max, an envelope with her hair and a certificate for her first haircut. She left still distressed.
But then she got home. There she realized a balloon with no weight on it is awesome.
Tio Greg made the balloon game one step more awesome by instead of handing the balloon down to her, he handed her to the balloon.
Not forgetting Max, he offered up a chest to knock out on at the end of the evening.

Traumatic times, all in the name of style--but that new hair style looks really cute. Max's style is pretty cute too.
Max looks like Greg had just been giving him a detailed lesson in how to use the remote, but found it too exhausting.

As you know I do love ragamuffins, but the cut is super cute!
