First day of middle school. Maddie was nervous and anxious to get inside. Jess had brought her in her car, and Sam was following behind. She would not stay to wait for Sam to catch up because she was desperate to get in and not be late.
And just like that, she was gone.
Last, first day at Edison.
Some things never change - first day is spent hanging with Stella.
