Madd Max Has A First Family Flight

The cab came at 5:45am, and we loaded in our Thanksgiving cornucopia of accessories.
Maddie was prepped with massive amounts of stimulation.
Sam brought some toys as well.
For about 5 hours of the 5 1/2 hour flight we handled business.
The last half hour, which involved some final walking through the aisle with Max, was tough, but more because the parent fun factory was running out of steam, rather then any change in the kids. We should have used those free drink coupons.
Upon arrival in Jersey, Madd Max was greeted by all of their Kender Uncles, Aunt, Cousin, Grandparents, and Dogs.
While the boy cousins are now both more cognizant of their surroundings, their reunion was slightly anti-climatic (with each other; their parents were very excited).
Dzedo and Max also got to enjoy a floor time reunion. Mimi was in the kitchen cooking up two plates of lasagna, homemade garlic knots, and apple crisp. Maddie was thrilled with all of the new toys, which in actuality are the old toys Mimi had saved from when Jess and her bros were little. Our little So-Cal girl was also thrilled with the stairs - these crazy things usually only go up about two feet and are concrete - here in Jersey, you can slide down a story on your tummy. And yes, this did end with a bloody lip that did not stop her.Tio Greg capped off the evening with a "Get Max Sleepy" stroll.
And at 9:30, it was time for bed.

I love that Max is glowing in the first shot. He has super human baby powers.
