Clearly, Maddie does not get her Mom's sense of humor. Ok, she didn't actually shower with Edith, but rather went to Edith's shower, where she got to spend time with Diane.
This is Edith. No, that's not true either. But this is Edith's Dad, Tim.
Edith is actually on the inside of Shanna (Shanna is 29 weeks pregnant).
At the shower, we were all put to the "Who Knows Shanna and Tim Best?" test, which Arthur and Liza realized was full of trick questions. Or maybe just would have been better had we been allowed to answer their way. For example -"What did Shanna want to be when she grew up?"
A. Teacher B. Baker C. Veterinarian D. Exotic Dancer

The competition was tense.
While the rest of us averaged 6 or 7, Eric got 10 out of 15. Please note, Kathleen later won a raffle at the CMU Holiday Party we headed to after the shower. Can you see their lucky aura?
Maddie was unflustered by our loss, and proceeded to spend the entire party "walking" around the backyard, perhaps making sure it was a good hangout for her soon-to-be friend. It was. After all, they have, you guessed it, her favorite - a lemon tree.
