The Scrapper Has His Orchestra Concert

Playing his part alone, together.

Each kid created a video, which the teachers put together to create a single concert.  The kids were displayed in grid fashion and then also had some seconds of the screen to themselves.

 It sounded exactly as you would expect, and was quite charming.

Madd Max Begins Online Learning

 Burbank Unified was down for 3 weeks.  School began today.

Max's classroom set up.  He was required for his PE class to build a fort.  He proceeded to do all of his classwork from inside said fort.

The night wrapped up with Jess' evening walk where nature is finding a way.  This raccoon looked Jess dead in the eye and then proceeded to casually walk a quarter of a block on the sidewalk before heading into a neighbor's yard.

Madd Max Has A Watson Adventure

The morning started with Sam's nitro cold brewed coffee.

Followed by a trivia/scavenger hunt with the Kender crew and some of Tia Jess' family.  This company provides scavenger hunts (the fam did one at the Liberty Science Center) in major museums, but have modified their game to be a purely indoor sport.  It was a blast.  The kids were super excited and competitive, which paid off as the fam, ie The Precious TPs, kicked some bootie and won the game.

Madd Max Makes Palomas

Our neighbors Amy and Ray have a grapefruit tree in their backyard, and their kitchen window looks directly into our kitchen window.  In the morning, Jess taped a sign to the window that said, "If you have more grapefruits, we will take them!  Thx - Jess and Sam"

The exchange followed as such:

"Check your front door for fruit delivery.  Amy and Ray"

Our reply: "Thanks!  Yay"

Then the above - "Anytime.  Let us know when u need more."

Sam then dropped them off a bottle of homemade spicy paloma.  Their last note:

"Our turn.  Yummy.  Yay!"

And where the palomas were had - zoom cocktail hour.
