Madd Max Have An Early Easter

The Easter Bunny came a day early to celebrate while Gwen was still in town.
Which allowed her to experience the Kender and now Page tradition of the scavenger hunt.
This year the Easter Bunny gave written clues along with photos.

Madd Max Beautify, Dye and Crack

Nails and lip gloss.
Egg dying.
And the traditional Page egg cracking.

Madd Max Head To Disney

Where it was Gwen's first visit, shown here on the tram from the parking lot to the park.
On the Jungle Cruise (which looks a lot like the ride on the above tram, but in actuality was a lot different).

Selfie!
Maddie and Gwen spent a lot of the time holding hands on line for rides.
Which they then rode with each other, feeling very adult.
(Earlier Jess had explained to Gwen that you needed to be 7 to ride alone, and asked Gwen how old she was.  Gwen replied - 6.  Jess explained and asked again to which Gwen nodded slowly and said - 7).
Max did not get that luxury but he did get all the attention of his mom and Aunt.
A very full day ended with a very satisfying sleepover (their 3rd in a row).

Slappy Gets Her Blue Belt

Sparring with her sensei to pass the test.
And a celebratory dinner at Benihana.
(Actually, T & T, Max and Jess had such a great time when they went, it was decided that this should be something that should be shared with Gwen and fam).

Madd Max Loves Cousins

Especially ones who want to ride with them in the back seat!

Slappy Has A Happy Birthday Party

The smiling 7 year old.
At her venue of choice - the roller rink.
Where she was lucky enough to get to have not only her friends,
But also her cousin and Aunt.
Madd, Lilly and Lucy were the only 3 guests who were able to skate unassisted.
Maddie had a unique way of staying balanced, which involved her leaning way forward and spreading her legs very wide.  The entire look seemed like constant, awkward work, enough so that a stranger came up to Jess to tell her how proud she was of that little girl who would just not give up.
Max was able to skate unassisted half the time - the first half of the party he was convinced he needed the help.  The second half he was skating like a pro.
Party go-ers.
A lot of the moms loved the throwback to middle school.
Cute baby.
The hokey pokey.
Happy Birthday!
