Madd Max Plays With Their Cuz

At Kidspace, and it seems independent thinking is a family trait. Why play with the standard toys when a dirty puddle is available? Why splash with your hands when you have feet? And why follow social constraints that say water troughs are for standing by and not standing in?And who made the rule that tricycles are for riding and not pushing on all fours?
Furthermore, why enjoy Kidspace awake when you can enjoy it equally asleep?
With such like mindedness, some more parallel play was needed at home.
Followed be a great family dinner at, you guessed it, Senor Fish, with family friend, Katie. The girls agreed chips, gaucamole, rice and beans are enjoyed not just from plate to mouth, but the floor is a major player in there as well.

The Scrapper Is Satisfied Again

Max was returned to the arms of his Taisie after almost 2 months.
Even more exciting, he got to meet his Aunt Rachel, Uncle David (see the far couch) and his cousin, Gwen Wren for the first time. His cuz was very taken by the "bay-bee" from the start. It's been a little over a year since Maddie and Gwen first met. They very quickly began to share Old McDonald with each other, handing him back and forth, very pleased with themselves. Let's hope Christmas' stay like this.
Being with his Aunt, Uncle and Cousin was pretty awesome, but what would make the evening complete, Max pondered (or maybe that's just his standard concerned expression).
Luckily he did not have to ponder for long, as the evening was complete, since Grandpa Toby had also arrived for Max to meet for the first time as well.

The Scrapper Has Extreme Focus

Warning: Graphic Video
After watching his sister spin the wheels on the exersaucer, Max was determined to work them himself.

The Scrapper Watches

Lately, Max has begun to watch his sister more closely, although it was all about Mom during tummy time in the morning.
At music class, Maddie gave Max pointers on how one can never have enough shakers. Never.Good to know.
Back at home, while Max was in the exersaucer, Maddie came over and began to play with all of the gadgets (all the while, watching tv and saying, "E. E. E," her version of the theme song for Sesame Street). Max watched her. Sisters are way cooler than TV.
