But first, Uncle Wills cooked burritos for breakfast.

Then the fam headed to the Ovens, which was not yet officially open, but Jess was able to use her cinematic immunity to get into.

It's a stunning place.

Next stop, Lunenberg where Uncle Wills had, of course, a lobster roll.

A stop by a rum distillery, which actually keeps rum in barrels just off the Lunenberg wharf in the water.  The building used to be a marine blacksmith's shop and it had a wild fireplace.

A little stop in a bookstore that had "Blind Date" books, wrapped in butcher paper with only a description of the genre on the outside.

Aunt Ally and Uncle Wills met Jess in Halifax at the Stubborn Goat for dinner.
