Madd Max Has An Art Hang With Tacos

Jin brought a pineapple and did not break the wine, ala Daisy (those who have watched the show will get it).  It cracked Jess up.

Madd Max Goes To JBHS Open House

The expressions on these two.

 

Max was pretty nervous, as the high school is much larger than his middle school (851 vs 2500 students).  Maddie took Max around to all of the student activities booths and to each of her classes all over campus to show him what a typical day was like, including teaching him which side of the stairs to walk on to not annoy the rest of the student population.

Slappy Has A Meet

After 2 weeks of a stomach bug, Maddie was able to practice for 2 days.

She got 5'-6" in pole vaulting.

And was the only one to place, as the other girls DQ'd.

She got 25-1 in triple jump.

Which meant 2nd place.

And 8th out of 12 in the 200 with 31.99.

She was disappointed with her scores, but Jess suggested that perhaps the 2 weeks out had some type of effect.  She was less disappointed when she realized she still placed in 2 events.

Slappy Has H. Pylori

A stomach bacteria, which needs a strong course of 3 meds, including 2 antibiotics.  Here she enjoys her twice daily app.  

H. pylori is spread thru person to person contact or thru contact with vomit or stool.  When Jess expressed her sadness at Madd's heavy antibiotics (which can cause further stomach issues), Max's response was, "Well, that's what you get from kissing boys and eating poop."

Slappy Gets Windblown

 

While Maddie could not participate in this week's meet due to still recovering from her stomach bacteria, she was on the field to help with the events as needed.

It was a windy day.
