Today was supposed to be the day Heather and Adam got married. Instead, they had a small zoom wedding in May, and on the day of their would-have-been-in-person-wedding, they had a zoom reception where small groups of people stopped by every half hour to chat with the newlyweds. Mazel tov!

Madd Max Works In The Time Of Corona
Now that Jess is back at work, she needed a desk as well.
Also, a supervisor.
Uno watches from across the room. She's comfortable giving Jess a little bit more space.
Parked at the lot, ready for the weekly Covid test.

Madd Max Watches The Mountains
Jess would get up at 6:30 every morning and watch this in the front yard.
Soft pink.
Pink that reminded her of Sedona.
A deep yellow.
And by around 7:10am the mountains were their dusty desert hues.

Madd Max Have A Last Palm Springs Day
Sam came back the night before. A lot of relaxing reading was done in the backyard.
Along with more of this.
And more of this.
More reading.
Final family dinner. Thanks for a great getaway!

Madd Max Have Another Pool Day
This time with strawberry shakes.
Some volley with Taisie.
And Maddie's new favorite game, "Let's pretend I've drowned," which is fun for everyone except Jess.
Working on Cat's Cradle.
Succeeding at Witch's Broom.

Madd Max Wears Glasses
One of Jess' biggest fidgets is playing around with her eyes when she works. To combat this, she bought 4 cheap frames (which BTW are also progressives, which are wonderful and make her feel old). This is the most exciting pair. Her Art Director told her, "You are developing into a crazy production designer with eccentric glasses quite nicely."
Madd Max Get Drinks From The Bar
And by the bar, Jess means the walk up bar outside of the kitchen, where they actually just hollered their requests from the pool thru the window.
Banana smoothies with whipped cream.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Sam's mousepad was full of kitten.
