Madd Max Heads To The Rides

The first roller coaster, and Maddie was thrilled to ride alone.

Up until now, Max has been a little scared of roller coasters.  At the beginning of the ride he was "scared and excited."  By the end of the ride, he "loved it."

Sam was very pleased with his 2 passes by the ride camera.

Self driving, albeit very slowly.

And as Jess calls it - a definite Maddie ride.  Jess and Max watched.

Max did give it a go the following day.

Where Maddie complimented a greeter on their name tag that had a mini-figure on it and was given said figure.

At check-in, the kiddos were given a scavenger hunt that would reveal a code to their treasure box in the room.

Madd Max Celebrates Caution Danger!

Otherwise known as the 4th of July at the Delphi Compound, now with awesome kid play structure.

The testing of the local fireworks began very early into the evening.  Jess and Erin got some wine and sat back.

Jess and Alex did the same but with the beer version.

Max and Audrey followed but without cocktails.

Waiting for night to fall with Eric and Kathleen.

Max begins to spot some bigger ones with Auntie Jamie.

Porch seats for Kathleen and Steve.

Sound cancelling headphones for at least one of the smaller set.

On the drive home, Jess asked Max what he thought of the festivities.  His reply: "Epic."

Madd Max Have Playdate #3

 Luke and Maddie play some type of game, involving Lego men and women.

And an Indominus Rex eating a minecraft character - the Diet Coke being the wall holding the dinosaur back.

 A bike ride to get push pops.

Along the bike path was a box of free Meyer lemons which meant lemonade time, where Sam taught Max some knife skillz.

This was the big playdate weekend, starting with Playdate #1 with Jackson.
They stayed there for about 45 min playing like this.
