As a side note, as Maddie and Sam headed off to the weigh in, Jess told her how cool her car was.  She happily replied, "And I didn't have to do anything!"  Sam and Jess, through their laughter, tried to explain that perhaps she would not want to say that exactly when they got to the Derby.
