Madd Max Are Big

And not just as in Big-Time, ie socializing all around the Valley, as seen here at lunch with Auntie Kerri and Taisie (which Max slept through again - double yeah!)

Today was Max's 2 week check-up and Maddie's 16 month check-up (ok - we were a little late for the 15 month one).
Here are their stats:
Maddie -
Height: 32 1/2" (80th percentile)
Weight: 23lbs. 12oz. (50th percentile)
Head Circumference: 18 1/2cm (60th percentile)
Max -
Height: 21 1/4"(up 3/4" since 1 day)
Weight: 7lbs. 7oz. (up 12oz. since 1 day)
Head Circumference: 14 1/4cm (up 1cm since 1 week)The fam headed over to Steve's where he grilled like a master, before heading off to Vancouver to work like a master.ELF was there to parallel play in the sand. While Max cuddled with Erin, and also got to meet John and Suzanne for the first time.

The Scrapper Loves The Ladies

Especially his Taisie, who has come to make sure Max has a grandmother around him for his first month in the outside world.

He also loved them at lunch with Auntie Kerri.Which he found so relaxing, that he slept the entire time. Yeah!

Next, was time with bride-to-be Elizabeth at her bachlorette.

Where he reveled in his status as the only dude in a sea of hot women.

Madd Max Has Comings And Goings

It was Mimi's last day, and we headed to the park for a picnic and stick gathering.

Followed by Maddie/Mimi playtime, and Max/Mom munchtime.

Then a visit from Diane, who came to meet Max and brought Maddie her first jack-in-the-box, a big hit. Then Max's first bath. His expression says it all. We tried to end the evening with a photo of the 3 generations of women, but the youngest generation had different priorities.
So we went for 2 instead. We love you and we'll miss you, Mimi!

The Scrapper Experiences Señor Fish

From within the confines of his sling.

There with met up with the Eagle Rock crew - Tim and Edith.And Shanna - who had all headed over to meet Max for the first time. They also brought sustenance after hearing that Mimi would be leaving soon.

Madd Max Has Dinner And A Dip

Slappy Celebrates Her Newest Friend

Lucia Vielot Gonzalez! Born to proud parents, Françoise and Eduardo at 9:18pm EDT, weighing 6 lbs 14 oz, and 19 1/2" long, she is welcomed by her big brother, Mateo, and the Madd Max. We can't wait to meet you, baby girl!

Slappy Doubles Her Fun

Her day began with the opening of a great toy from the Janisz crew - stacking boxes.

And then Smooth Andre came over. Maddie showed off her ball which Andre immediately and excitedly remembered from his youth. Both kids spent many hours being soothed by the ball when they were young, and it had been pulled out of storage for Max. The second it was pulled out, Maddie was thrilled with it. Sam has bounced Maddie to sleep for a nap on it. They have bounced on it as a ride. They have pushed it around the house. Max has yet to utilize it.

Then it was time to head to the park, on the double stroller's maiden voyage.

Where Andre had his maiden voyage on the swings.

Max seemed to much prefer napping with Dzedo.Or with Mom.
