Madd Max Do A Whirlwind Philly

After cheesesteak, the Liberty Bell.

 There's that crack.

Then over to Independence Hall - that's the Liberty Bell in the deep background.

Because our tour was truly whirlwind, we only got to see the outside - here it is. 

 Then over to our food tour, that started in the Redding Terminal Market.  Jess' favorite stop - a bakery that served us a cherry, chocolate chip cookie.

Some drinks at a speakeasy, The Ranstead Room, and some noodles at Nan Zhou Hand Pulled Noodles. But Jess' favorite part of the evening, spending time in the hotel room chatting and watching stand up comedy on the iPad.

Madd Max Hits Hoboken

Jess arrived early off a red eye, and stopped by for some donuts with the kiddos.

After chatting quietly in the hall for a few minutes, a tired Lucia did tell her mom and Jess that, "Just so you know, you are VERY bad at whispering."

Then it was down to Philly, and after checking into the Sonesta Rittenhouse Square, they went on a search for some authentic cheesesteak. 

Auntie Jamie would later inform Jess that they did not choose correctly.  It was still quite yummy.

The Scrapper Goes To Luther Family Night

Where he sat next to Imani and unhappily learned about Middle School (he felt because he had to go with Maddie last year, this was an unnecessary step in the learning process).

Afterwards, he and Jess headed to Langers for a celebratory dinner and strawberry shake which seemed to make the indignity worth it.

Madd Max Has Some Love In This House

In the mornings, sometimes Jess will ask Sam to make her oatmeal.  Which he does, and always lays out the oatmeal accessories that she likes - milk, brown sugar, raisins and Martha Stewart Living.

Madd Max Head To A Bachlorette

 And Jaymi's.

 Which began at House of Pies, headed to the Dresden Room and ended at Jumbo's Clown Room.  

It was like reliving our 20s, but 3 hours earlier in the evening.

The Scrapper Gets His Arrow Of Light

 Max orginally joined Boy Scouts after seeing them in Burbank on Parade, and deciding he too, would like to be in a parade.  Much to his dismay, that was the last year the Boy Scouts were in the Parade.  So he set a new goal, getting his Arrow of Light.

The Arrow.  And with that, Max graduated out of Cub Scouts and left that part of his childhood, filled with many a fun camping trip that would have otherwise never happened, behind.

Madd Max Has A Middle School Tour

Along with Mia, who proudly announced to the group when she saw him, "This is my best friend!"  He was nervous, holding Jess' hand the whole time, and felt overall that it was "very big."

This time with a quiche and Valentine's Day chocolates.

A Kender-Page breakfast of baked french toast, monkey bread and sausage.  Fruit by Morgan and Jaymi - company eggs from yesterday morning.
