Madd Max Hikes The Actual Devil's Punchbowl

After packing out of Adam's, the fam headed to the actual trail where they were told to wear masks only when they passed people.

 There was a very pretty stream running thru the base of the Bowl.

 Where Max, of course, threw some rocks.

The entire trip was incredibly restorative.  As Adam says, it's a magical place.

 Adam gave directions on how to get to the trails that led to the actual Devil's Punchbowl.  We started out - here still on Adam's property.

About 10 min into the hike, Jess realized they had left their masks, and went back to get them, leaving Madd her phone.  The result.

Along with this brilliant comedy.

 Then the fam got lost in the conventional sense as we did not find those trails for the first 45 min, but as Adam said - you can't really get lost out there.  There are so many distinct rock formations that it is very easy to figure out which way you should head.

Madd Max Head To Devil's Punchbowl

Car fully, fully packed.  

Sam and Jess' friend, Adam has a property that he has been letting people use for a city getaway.  It's about an hour and 15 minutes out of town.
