Ok, ok - I know you guys can see this morning routine below, but this picture was too sweet not to add.
Nothing can stop Sam from checking on the Let's Go Kings photo challenge website - but why is he wearing a purse?
No! She said what? Francoise looks on in disbelief when learning that Jess' own Grandma lied to her. About what you ask? After Maddie was born, Grandma asked if Jess had thought of her during her labor and cursed her name. Why? When Jess was still pregnant, she asked her Grandma what labor was like. Grandma replied, "It's like bad menstrual cramps." She now claims, "I know I lied to you, but you're my Granddaughter, and I just didn't want to scare you." What's next? The homemade cookies that we've loved from Grandma's, are really Entenmann's?
Exhausted after wrapping her head around Great-Grandma's deception, Maddie passes out on Dedo, who in turn, passes out on the sofa, where they stayed for hours.
In her room that is. Here's another view of it, and everywhere you look - there are pieces of the people who love her. A mobile from Jamie,a baby monitor from Kathleen and Eric, pictures taken by Dad on the wall, a diaper pail from Marcus, curtains and pillows from Alison, fuzzy bunnies from Scott and Marissa, and pictures of her friends finally up on the wall, who you may recognize from earlier in this blog. (Jess is 38 weeks pregnant).
Slappy also knows that it's all about the details. In one of her favorite corners of her room, there is a shelf that holds on it a lamp designed and painted by Taisie, 2 creatures from Kears and Todd's wedding, a tile from Cuba brought back by Francoise and Eddie, and her favorite picture of her Dad eating a cantalope.
At Hollywood Animals, where Greg showed us around the ranch, and Slappy learned that bears love marshmallows. Note the black lump by Greg's head, which is actually the leopard that used to come to bbqs when he was a much smaller size (as a cub, he was slightly larger than a weiner dog - now he's 60 lbs. and working his way to 100+).
Arthur put on his stripes to become part of the white tiger's pride.
