Cat fort?

And the start of his pandemic desk coming down.

Madd Max Celebrate 19 Years
A stop by the ocean in Santa Barbara.
For some brunch.
Then up to Santa Ynez for wine tasting.
Where they got comped for celebrating their anniversary in the exact place they got married.
Underneath that very tree. That was a fun day 19 years ago, and a fun day today.
Madd Max Fly Solo
Sam and Jess watched until they couldn't see them anymore.
Solo plane selfie. Maddie always let Max take the window seat.
Next up, NJ and then NH!

Who practiced volleyball with Madd.
While Max enjoyed some temp foster kitten cuddles.
Sam also got a card from the kiddos.
Madd - You have "... an upmost chill that has never been seen before."
Max -"You are getting a thank you letter from one of your many reproductive cells that has been matured."

Slappy Returns Stateside
Jess was waiting for her on the other side of customs.
Just like old times - a solid car nap by the weary traveler.

Slappy Heads to Cologne
And hit the Cologne Cathedral where they were doing a ceremony that involved fog.
German pizza.
Per Madd: "just a town square."
And "another church." By this point Maddie said that all the cities were getting blurred into one; that they were such beautiful cities, but they were all starting to look the same. When she got back to Burbank, she had a moment of disbelief that she had felt that way as she compared Europe to the buildings in the suburbs.
