Madd Max Has A Second Kender Koffee

Mimi decided that each Kender Koffee should feature a food from one of the regions that a Kender crew is situated in.

This Koffee featured Uncle Wills and Aunt Ally in Chicago - hot dogs and deep dish pizza were shipped out and warmed up in time for the Skype call.

Both kids helped Sam set up the tent.

Max is not running as he is not participating because he likes to help hide eggs and believes this gives him an unfair advantage.

Madd Max Has A Happy Easter

A few days before Easter, Maddie informed Jess that they no longer believed in the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny or Santa.  When asked who brought the presents, etc, Maddie responded with - the parents, although she was a little concerned and felt she should hedge her bets by saying, but maybe he could be real, "just in case."  Either way, baskets managed to be at the door at wakeup time.

A bench at their school, where if you see someone sitting alone, it means they are looking for some company or a friend.

She decided she wanted to go short.

Jess was nervous for the first cut which took about 6" inches off, worrying Maddie would see it and freak out, but it turned out super cute.

Madd Max Continues The Vegas Birthday Celebration

Opening some saved presents from her actual birthday.

Sam and Jess thought the kids would be super psyched about a buffet for dinner.

Max ate 3 pepperoni off of a slice of pizza.  This was Maddie's meal.

Although, let it be noted, Maddie was thrilled with her choices.

The evening ended with the Cirque show, One, which was great and filled with guilt.

Instead of a birthday party, Maddie chose a trip to Vegas with the fam.

She was in awe even from the parking garage.

The fam checked into Mandalay Bay which had a heated wave pool for the kids.

And drinks for the adults.

Along with a lazy river for all 4.

Then it was up to the room for some chill time.

Natalie did the cupcakes closest to camera.  Then came Max, and finally Maddie's take, which was primarily frosting based.
