Madd Max Gets Bean Boozled

Where you could either end up with a jellybean that is delicious or disgusting.

The appeal in this confounds Jess, and it clearly wore out for them as well.  The kids never made it through the entire box.

Madd Max Has A Rainy Day

Which meant a planned trip to Black's, a local toy store, to find some goodies (one of Max's birthday presents).

Maddie got to enjoy it as well, as did Sam and Jess who got to read on the rainy sleeping porch for hours.

 Back at home, painting in the studio.

Madd Max Hit The Lake

 Jess' first time canoeing across the entire lake in over a decade.

It's a family affair.

 The bridge to get over the lake and through the woods.

 The loon family, not entirely shown, had 2 parents and one baby.

 Sparklers (there were also ground flowers).

 Max just made the reach height, moving him off of the kid course.

 Just a taste of some of the terror Jess felt - there's Sam and Max.  It got better as the fam went along, but would not rank in Jess' world as "fun."
