Madd Max Celebrates New Year's Eve

Ready for some late night pool.

Dozee popped in for a hello.

As did Mimi.

While the kids made it till 10:45pm in the pool, Jess and Kristin made it until 11:45 when they were kicked out.  Luckily, they had finished their wine in Starbucks plastic cups before that happened.  Not a bad way to bring in the new year.

Madd Max Heads To Grandma's House

So did Mimi and Dozee, who the fam met at a McDonalds along the route.

More technically, the fam headed to Great Uncle Rick and Great Aunt Carole's house, who still have some of the games from Grandma's house (that Dozee and his brothers used to play growing up).

Cousin Kristin had made the trek as well.

And they were soon joined by cousin Jeannie and her fam.

Madd Max Head To One Last Set Of Presents

Jess was there in Elsa gear after attending a Cosplay event.

And the West Coast's first glimpse of snow.

Max made a snow ball from wiping the snow off of the hood of the car.

Gift Exchange.

Max and Aiden both got only one gift as they were a little pricey.  Max's thank you had Jess both cracking up and slightly aghast. 

"Thank you for not the best present but the only present."  He was asked to try again.

And as a finale for the evening - Tio Greg taught the kids Dungeons and Dragons.  They loved it.

For a visit with Eddie and Tante.

And little Miss Valentina in her sister's fashion glasses.

Electronics while you wait.

On the plane - the kids wrote their thank you cards.  Jess loves that Maddie adds a picture to go along with all her words.

While Jess was watching her movie, she turned to notice Maddie engrossed in FOX news.  Don't worry - we have already talked to her about it.

Upon arriving at the Ullucci-Michaels, the kids got right back into wrestling and games as if no time had passed. 

Maddie said she remembered the house as the place "with lots of food."

She was right.

Madd Max Enjoy The Rest Of Christmas Day

The traditional Chinese lunch.

A visit to Toby's rehab center with dominoes in hand.

Toby then returned with the fam for Christmas dinner.

A yummy Christmas dinner, complete with Christmas crackers.

And sparklers.

And cousin hugs, as tomorrow they would be parted.  That's a good week.
