By proxy. Jess and Sam headed to Fort Chadwick to view it in style.

Madd Max Makes It Offiical
Jess (and kids) attended their first Chuck E Cheese Birthday Party. After spending years wondering how her parents could not dig the awesomeness of the place, she gets it now.
The Scrapper Has A First Playdate
As in a friend at his house, just for him. As soon as Stella arrived, Max grabbed his hockey gear to show it off.
Then a drive to dinner.
Maddie also had Aurelia over, but point stands - Max had a friend brought just for him. It only took 3 years.

Madd Max Has A First
It all began with a Sunday dinner.
A special Sunday dinner.
With a first missing tooth!
As a side note, this pandemic began months ago on the East Coast in the Vielot-Gonzalez household.

Madd Max Enjoy Girlie Things
Chosen by Dad, Matt.
Decorating faces with jewels.
Fingernail painting by Sam.
And then the decision to cut watermelon in the pool.
Madd Max Head To The Gymnastics Open House
But first lunch and some story telling.
Then some sliding.
And jumping.
This picture does not do justice to the red faces after an hour and a half of gymnastics in 95 heat.
On walk back, every post was checked for spiders.

The Scrapper Is Sick
After throwing up 6 times in the middle of the night, Max chilled at home in the hammock.
His new favorite place.
After imitating crows for awhile, Sam heard it grow quiet. This is what he found.

Madd Max Beat The Heat
Even more, with some ice cream with Emma.
Who then got to enjoy the project box from Mimi - clearly these girls come from artistic backgrounds.

Slappy Learns
At school: "Today was interesting because we watched a brown widow that had two egg sacks web a cricket for its babies." Awesome. And gross.

Slappy Has Some Advice
After listening to Jess repeatedly discuss a particular problem person at work, Maddie decided she knew what to do.

Madd Max Have A First Steelers Game
The first game of the 2012 season,
Black and yellow.
Meanwhile, ELF gave out ballet lessons to Max and Elizabeth.
And Tio Greg made another fan.

Slappy Is A Big Helper
Maddie is taking more responsibilities on, and is very proud of herself for doing so. Here, after visiting the farmer's market, she carried the grapes and asparagus to the car. At home, she "cleans up", ie makes her, her brother's and her parents' beds. Even more impressive is that every morning, she gets up and feeds herself and her brother breakfast. This allows Sam and Jess to stay in bed until 7:15 on weekends instead of getting out of bed with the kids at 6:00. Oh yes.

Madd Max Celebrate Stella
Where Maddie pushed the 3 year olds on the hammock.
And Stella had rock star style with a pink, black and zebra cake.
Upon return, came the much anticipated return of Tio Greg, back from Korea.
The Scrapper Has A Special Day
With Mimi, who took him out all by himself to a children's museum where he shot water guns and sat in the pilot's seat of a real airplane. The following day, Maddie got her special day at Build-A-Bear and Joanne's Fabrics where she picked out her Halloween costume pattern. They both felt very grown up and important.

Madd Max Have A Break From The Norm
As they welcome Myles, new SON of Greg and Suzanne. Myles has the honor of being the first born male child to parents on the West Coast (the Stucker boys excepted). Welcome, baby Myles!
Madd Max Have Sunday Dinner
But first a trip to the Farmer's Market in a new cape by Mimi.
And then Sunday dinner on Saturday, also with Mimi.
