Madd Max Have Halloween - Take 3

Back at home, Maddie and Max took turns handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters, of which there were 343.

Each kid was told to "Take 2" and both kids wanted it to go all night.

After finishing the block, the crew headed over to their Preschool for Trunk Or Treat, where various people lines up their cars, trunks open and decorated, and hand out candy to the kiddos.
One such trunk.
Their teachers were all wearing shirts with lines they are known by.
The event was capped off with some dancing to "The Monster Mash."

For awhile, Max thought he had to carry this tail and his bucket. Luckily, with enough candy, he forgot.Maddie almost made it till dark, and headed over to the neighbor'sAnd then ran with her bro from house to house.They were soon joined by the Croshaws.

Madd Max Heads To The Annual PCP


Pumpkin Carving Party. Note all the orange.The debut of their Halloween costumes. The host, Jess, and Alex, the creator of the gimbaling pumpkin.There was intense focus.

Or perhaps a beer?
What was later to become the 2nd place champion - Shark Pumpkin by Liza Mae.
And once night fell... Another fan favorite, which does not show well, but gets points for creativity - the Lite Bright Pumpkin, utilizing Mike and Ike's in a brand new way, by Aarin.
The gimbaling pumpkin - look at the device surrounding the green flaming bat signal. There is a 3 leveled gimbal that was fully functional by Alex.

The event was held at John and Erin's house, who are due on Oct. 31.Sam's other pumpkin was made in honor of that and took home Best in Show.

In the land of Maddie, the great # to achieve of anything is 5. 5 m&ms, 5 pancakes, and now 5 Halloween parties.
Here is her 3rd at the local high school, complete with marching band.

The Scrapper Heads To The Tiki Room


Right before bed, Max got it into his head he was going to the Tiki Room at Disneyland. He put on his shoes, and kept telling Sam to, "Hurry, quickly, Dad! We're going to the Tiki Tiki Room." When Dad didn't hurry fast enough, Max attempted to speed things along.

Madd Max Heads To The Monster Mash

At ELF's future elementary school, two blocks away from her house.There were food trucks.
Games.
Max actually got that ring on the bottle, hence the cheers.
There was cookie decorating, where you got a cookie, your choice of frosting and various toppings.
ELF's creation, complete with black frosting, gummy worms and bat marshmallows. And yes, she ate it. With gusto.
