Well, movie afternoon. Adam brought over homemade pizzas for Maddie, and the kiddos got a first. They ate dinner in the living room, while watching a movie, "Gnomeo and Juliet."

Madd Max Gets In A Last Morning With Mimi

Who has been out since the day before Maddie's surgery.

Note: the car seat was being changed from Mimi's car back to Jess'. For those who are not aware, car seat in car - terrible. Car seat in house - so awesome it's worth fighting over.

Slappy Does One Of Her Favorite Things

Cooking with Mimi. After making blueberry muffins in the morning, she wanted more. Mimi was happy to get the "help."

Slappy Has A Special Playdate

Set up by Mimi, who found "Fairies and Dragons" in the Valley, a place that offered Fairy themed parties to little girls. After speaking with the owner about the fact that Maddie recently had surgery that stopped her from going to Disneyland or parks, Mimi got the store opened up for an hour for Maddie.

And her BFF, ELF.

Nothing like a ladybug on your cheek, a butterfly on your arm.

And a princess tea party with your best friend.

Slappy Is So Brave

And that's why she keeps getting presents, this one from Jess' work. Later in the day, Isabel continued her balloon parade.

And loves up on her at every chance. When Max thinks no one is looking, he'll sneak over to touch her toes.

Madd Max Get Some DoeZee Love

Just before he headed back to Jersey. After spending the entire day together during Maddie's surgery, Max may just miss most their breakfast of 4 cups of juice and dry Fruit Loops eaten with a fork.

Maddie will miss DoeZee's teaching.

At the Leonhardts who will be on the East Coast (and Vegas) for the next 2 months.Max will have to find another seatmate.

Maddie who was missing "my best friends, Ellie and Lilly" up in Palo Alto, will have to miss at least one of them a little longer.

Each time the fam has come home from a surgery or attempted surgery, there have been gifts waiting to buck up either the kids or their parents. This time both kiddos were thrilled to see massive amounts of balloons from the Williams' and the Leonhardt fam.

All followed up by an ice cream cake from Mimi and DoeZee.

Slappy Recovers

At a very swollen breakfast.Followed by some card opening from the teachers and kids in her preschool.

And finally in the afternoon at the local Kid's Museum, aka The OMG Don't Hit Your Ear On Those Toys Or Kids Museum.

In the back there was a small zoo, where DooZee impressed Max with his goose call skillz.

And watched Maddie strive to be back at 100%.

The magnifying glass was just the right speed, for Jess.

Where Jess tried to work from the restaurant using the kids' crayons, and ignore her stress factor. The margarita didn't help the stress too much, but boy, did those sets look interesting.

DooZee came up with the most awesome game of peekaboo.

And then later, the game of "I'm a robot!" with the insides of 2 boxes.
