The blueberry bushes around the pond were starting to produce, and some were just getting sweet.

Jess and Maddie continued the full loop around the pond, ending up very sweaty upon return, where Maddie had her last jump in Lake Chocorua.

Madd Max Has A Dramatic 4th Of July

Originally, the fam was supposed to be heading to Cancun to celebrate Mimi and Dozee's 50th (now 52nd) wedding anniversary.  Hurricane Beryl had other ideas, and the trip was cancelled.

A backup plan was set into motion which included the Tamworth holiday parade.

And a cookout, which is what Jess arrived home to.

Followed by some fireworks.  USA!  

It's good to be home.

Madd Max Has A Last Nova Scotia Work Day

Jess was gifted her official Gerhardt gear (see "The Curse of Oak Island" for more info) along with many little Canadian flags as a goodbye present from the Lunenberg mafia.

Meanwhile, back in Chocorua there was cousin paddle boarding.
